On Saturday June 19, 2010 Firefighter Dave Brown was involved in a motorcycle accident southbound on hwy 21, approx 10 miles south of Potosi Mo. He sustained a life changing injury that would inevitably include the loss of his left leg from above the knee down. Dave serves as a paid firefighter for the Goldman Fire Protection District and volunteers as a Lieutenant with the Hematite Fire Protection District. He is also a loyal volunteer with the Jefferson County Firefighters Honor Guard.

Dave would always be the first in lending a hand to fellow firefighter or friend. Goldman Fire has posted this information for those who want to help Dave and his family in their time of need.

Monetary donations are appreciated. They can be made to Dave Browns Benefit Fund at any First National Bank St Louis (checks preferred)
